I am involved in testing two web platforms my primary responsibilities include API testing, functional testing, development of automated test scripts, and performance testing. Additionally, my assist colleagues in developing auxiliary test software for IoT devices.
Responsibilities :
API Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of APIs and endpoints. Functional Testing: Ensure the platforms meet all functional requirements through detailed testing. Automated Test Script Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and languages. Performance Testing: Evaluate the platforms' performance under various load conditions. Auxiliary Test Software Development: Assist in creating test software for IoT devices.
Key Tasks :
API Testing: Define test cases for all APIs and endpoints, use tools like Postman or JMeter to test RESTful APIs, validate responses. Functional Testing: Analyze requirements, design detailed test cases, execute them, and document any defects. Automated Test Script Development: frameworks (RobotFramework, Selenium, Pytest), scripting languages (Python) Performance Testing: Perform load testing, stress testing using tools JMeter Auxiliary Test Software Development: Work closely with the IoT team to develop test software that for the IoT devices and web platforms. .
